Upcycling Workshop: Intro to Sewing + Appliqué

Give your old clothes new life! In this beginner-friendly upcycling workshop, we’ll teach you how to transform your least worn pieces — like a tee, tote, hoodie, or pair of jeans — into something totally new using simple sewing and appliqué techniques.

We’ll start with an introduction to sewing basics, then walk through creative ways to patch, appliqué, and rework garments with unique details. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to get creative with what they already have in their closet!

Bring your own item to upcycle, and we’ll provide all the other materials necessary for appliqué and guidance you need to bring your vision to life.
